Scott Cunningham MD

Scott Cunningham, MD
Dr. Cunningham is a husband, father, internal medicine physician and functional medicine practitioner who graduated from the University of Miami School of Medicine, and completed his Internal Medicine training at The Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh. During his years as a primary care physician he has continued to pursue tools to equip his patients to achieve the health outcomes they need for optimal health, eventually discovering the discipline called Functional Medicine, applying his own knowledge of systems biology to the care of his patients, particularly in the areas of autoimmunity and thyroid disease.

Dr. Cunningham’s philosophy for treating illnesses lies in a comprehensive approach that combines both nutritional and other physical modalities as well as mental and emotional treatment methods. To enable his patients to reach their goals, he teaches patients how to leverage:

  • A well-functioning autonomic nervous system and digestive system.
  • An emotional state that supports healthy biological functioning, along with an appropriately positive mental outlook on life.
  • A supportive network of relationships with friends, family and medical practitioners.

He is proud to offer his decades of medical knowledge to his own clinic, Great Health 365, and equally honored to be supported by a team of skilled health coaches and nutritionists.
