The founder of Honda Motor Company Ltd, Soichiro Honda, once said, "If I can dedicate myself to something I love to the point where time does not matter, there can be no happier life."

Isn't that the kind of life all of us really want?

But what if that isn't the reality facing us every morning?

How can you move from your present reality to the reality you really want?

In order to do that, what if you could use the most powerful force known to man?

It turns out, we all possess this superpower.

I'm talking about the raw power of your emotions.

I'm going to give you a simple exercise that harnesses the unlimited power of your emotions to hitch your wagon of today's reality to the star of your desired future.

Here's how it works:

You start by being really honest about what you want, and even what you don't want.

Then, from a comfortable position, preferably reclining, begin to focus on the outcome your heart really desires, and you allow yourself to feel how you're going to feel when you are living in that result.

I'll give you an example, I did this exercise just this morning preparing for this talk.

As an Integrative physician, my passion is to see the health of Denver transformed in every dimension, of course physically, but also emotionally, relationally, even spiritually.

This morning as I locked my attention on that desired goal, immediately the emotions began to flow, and it was like I was transported to that reality.

I can guarantee that Soichiro Honda did this simple exercise thousands of times during his life.

I'll leave you with this:

Emotions are uncomfortable for a lot of us, but if you allow yourself to feel what you really feel, those emotions, over time, will move your life toward the desire of your heart.
